Requirements to Becoming a Medical Injector in Canada:

In order to become a medical injector as a physician, you will first need to meet foundational educational requirements. Physicians will need to complete their MD or DO, and be licensed to practice as a doctor.

After you’ve completed your MD or DO, and obtained your license to practice, you’ll need to engage in specialized aesthetic training for physicians. CAMA’s Complete Injector Package for Physicians will offer instruction on neuromodulators, dermal fillers, comprehensive facial anatomy, platelet-rich plasma and mesotherapy, laser treatments, collagen-stimulating treatments, and more, to ensure you’re fully prepared as a medical injector.

What Are the Benefits of Becoming a Certified Medical Injector?

Undergoing aesthetic training for physicians and becoming a certified medical injector is a valuable way to expand your scope of services and maximize career opportunities. Physicians who offer injector services also enjoy immense satisfaction by creating positive impacts on their patients’ self-confidence.

As cutting-edge treatments in the aesthetic medicine industry evolve, there is an unprecedented demand for skilled medical injectors. Breaking into the aesthetic medicine field is an opportunity to expand your expertise as a physician, and benefit from excellent job stability. Aesthetic medicine treatments and procedures also tend to be a profitable service, and this is doubly true when these services are offered in supplement to your pre-existing medical practice.

This industry is ripe for entrepreneurial minds. For a physician who is looking to start their own practice, or for a physician looking to integrate new services into their pre-existing practice, aesthetic medicine offers flexibility. Continuing your professional development will offer you the exciting possibility of developing a suite of cosmetic services that fit the values and needs of your practice. Many physicians who offer aesthetic medicine services benefit from enhanced work-life balance, when compared to traditional roles in the medical industry.

If you’re ready to leverage your medical expertise and patient care towards aesthetic medicine, CAMA’s Complete Injector’s Package for Physicians is the perfect fit for you.
