Dr. Nitin Chauhan completed his undergraduate degree in Molecular Cell Biology before attending medical school. In 2006, he moved to Toronto to pursue a residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, followed by subspecialization in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is currently a double board-certified surgical specialist in both fields and serves as a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Toronto.

Yi is a board certified family nurse practitioner. She graduated with honours from York University, and then Master of Nursing in nurse practitioner stream from Athabasca University. She worked as a nurse since 2009 in oncology, wound care specialty, infection control, and LTC management, and then she works as a NP in primary care, drug research sub-investigator, and cosmetic nurse injector/trainer.

Aesthetic injector trained internationally under top tier injectors, dedicated in natural results, safety, educating and supporting other injectors.

Jenny has always had a strong passion for skin health and medical aesthetics. She graduated from a Bachelor of Science Nursing degree program in 2009 and shortly after began to specialize in skin and wound healing. In 2013, she completed a Master of Clinical Science in Wound Healing which led her to provide skin and wound consultations and education, interprovincially and internationally.

Ashley Haydarian, RN, BScN, stands at the forefront of Canada’s medical aesthetics field. As co‑founder of CAMA, partner at Specimed Anatomy, and a hands‑on injector in Toronto, she merges education, hands‑on practice, and conference leadership. Ashley created the country’s first formal nursing curriculum in aesthetics, speaks globally, hosts advanced anatomy workshops.

Jenny Atkins is a Registered Nurse and a Board Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist. Her passion for health and beauty led her to specialize in Aesthetic Nursing in 2009. Jenny is a faculty member and injectable trainer for the Canadian Association of Medical Aesthetics. She worked alongside a world-renowned plastic surgeon.

Laya is an RN with over 20 years of experience in the field of Aesthetics Nursing. Laya began her career at a skin and leishmaniasis clinic upon graduating from nursing school in 2000. At the clinic, most clients sought to improve the appearance of scars from cutaneous leishmaniasis lesions after their recovery, which sparked her interest in the cosmetic aspects of treatment. Over the years, she has witnessed the evolution of cosmetic nursing.

Nurse Rochele graduated with a nursing degree in 2017 from Ontario Tech University (formerly the University of Ontario Institute of Technology). Since entering the aesthetics industry in 2019, she has drawn from her broad nursing background in medicine, orthopedics, public health, and emergency care. Rochele has worked in various med spas, surgery offices, and now her own practice, where she combines her medical knowledge and critical thinking.

Courtney King is a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario with over a decade of experience. She has worked in a variety of nursing roles in Ottawa such as Pediatric Medicine, In 2016, she received specialized training in facial anatomy and injectable treatments leading to her aesthetic career path today. Currently she is working in a facial plastic surgery clinic providing injectable services such as neuromodulators and dermal fillers.

Mireille holds a masters degree and a teaching diploma in nursing education and works as a part-time educator at TOH, besides her aesthetic practice. Her business was recognized as one of the top 10 Ottawa dermal clinics in 2023 and received an A+ rating with the BBB. Her passion for education led her to create educational videos which are going viral on social media. She strives to deliver the best care for her clients based on evidence-based practice.

Mona Younes is a registered nurse with 21 years of experience as a Pediatrics nurse. Mona received her Bachelor’s degree of nursing in 2001. Working in neonatal intensive care and paediatrics medical unit in Children Hospital Of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) taught her how to work under pressure and to be punctual. Client’s safety is her priority that’s why she came equipped with the most advanced training. She always had passion for beauty care, in 2019 she combined her passion for nursing and beauty into a career of medical aesthetics.

Richa is a Registered Practical Nurse and an advanced certified cosmetic injector, who has also worked in specialties such as, Cardiology, Dialysis, and Rehab in acute care hospitals. She is currently pursuing her BScN, while she continues to also advance herself in cosmetic procedures. Richa began her career in the medical aesthetic industry to help women and men build confidence and achieve their version of beauty! She is trained in Botox, fillers, PRP treatments, Sculptra, PDO threads, etc.

Negin Karimi, RPN is an experienced Nurse Injector and Clinical Educator with over 25 years of healthcare experience. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Anesthesiology and spent more than 15 years working in the healthcare field before moving to Canada. With over 12 years of experience in medical aesthetics, Negin has dedicated her career to helping clients achieve refreshed, natural-looking results that enhance their unique beauty rather than change it. As a Clinical Instructor with the Canadian Association of Medical Aesthetics (CAMA) for the past four years, Negin is passionate about sharing her knowledge while continuing to provide personalized, evidence-based care. Nada Bouteraa is an experienced cosmetic nurse injector and educator with over seven years of experience in medical aesthetics. Having practised throughout the Greater Toronto Area as both a full-time injector and clinic owner, she has treated a diverse patient population across a wide range of ages, skin tones, ethnic backgrounds, facial structures, and aesthetic goals. Her clinical experience includes neuromodulators, dermal fillers, platelet-rich plasma treatments, biostimulators, facial rejuvenation, and individualized treatment planning. Her approach combines a strong understanding of facial anatomy with a meticulous eye for balance, proportion, and natural-looking results.

As a CAMA faculty member and injectable instructor, Nada is passionate about helping practitioners strengthen their clinical judgment, technical ability, and confidence. Klarenz Balonzo, RN, BScN, is a Registered Nurse, medical aesthetics educator, and founder of Wyskt Facial Bar in Hamilton, Ontario. With over six years of experience in medical aesthetics, she specializes in neuromodulators, dermal fillers, PRP, regenerative medicine, and advanced skin rejuvenation treatments.

Passionate about education and mentorship, Klarenz is committed to helping healthcare professionals build confidence and competence through hands-on training, evidence-based practice, and patient-centered care.

With 38 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, Laura brings a deep understanding of healthcare, anatomy, patient care, and, most importantly, people to her practice in medical aesthetics.

She has almost 20 years experience in various areas of Nursing including Med surg, Mental health, Critical Care, Step down ICU, Home care and been a Nursing Faculty and Educator at UNBC, University of Alberta and MacEwan University. Before joining becoming a CAMA faculty, she was also a Faculty at The BC Academy of Aesthetics teaching Botox, Fillers and PRP. Lola is Triple certified in Aesthetics from CAMA, PTIFA and Laser Sheer (taught by the renowned Vicky Mulyk).

David has been practicing as a Registered Nurse since 2012 in a variety of practice areas including pediatric intensive care, clinical nurse education, aesthetics, and virtual health. David is currently finishing a Master’s degree in Health Sciences Education at the University of Alberta and is passionate about teaching and learning, particularly in his favourite subject – aesthetic medicine. Sylvina is a Registered Nurse coming with an acute care background mainly in Trauma, as well as some experience in PACU and community based infusion clinics. She is now a full time advanced nurse injector with over 4 years of experience in the aesthetics industry. The art of aesthetic medicine appealed to her as she has always had an interest in cosmetics, which paired beautifully with her deep set values in nurturing self love.

Dr. Krystle Kay-Pfau is a board-certified specialist in Family Medicine with an advanced certification in aesthetic medicine. She completed her family medicine residency program at the University of Alberta in 2013 and completed her aesthetics training shortly after in the fall of 2023 in Calgary. She worked for 8.5 years in Edmonton before making the move to Kelowna in 2020. She is married to Rob and has two beautiful children.

I’ve been a registered nurse for 18 years. I started my career as a paramedic and then transitioned to nursing school. Upon graduation I went straight into the ICU. After a few years, I obtained my Master’s degree in Nursing and decided to go into long term care as a director.

In 2021 I started my career in medical aesthetics and now co-own two clinics in the lower mainland. My passion is regenerative aesthetics and improving skin health by using lasers, radiofrequency microneedling and medical grade skincare.

Jacob Noye, RN, RMT is a Registered Nurse and Registered Massage Therapist with advanced training in Medical Aesthetics. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Dalhousie University and completed his Advanced Medical Aesthetics Certification through the Canadian Association of Medical Aesthetics (CAMA).

Registered Nurse with advanced certification in Medical Aesthetics and a background in acute care practice of over 4 years. Founder of Tao Luxe Aesthetics in Bedford, Eleanor focuses on subtle, harmonizing results using evidence-based neuromodulator and dermal filler techniques.

Dr. Bhreagh MacDougall is a family medicine physician who currently practices in hospitalist, emergency, aesthetics, and primary care medicine in rural Nova Scotia where she was born and raised. She has a Master of Medical Science degree from the University of Calgary with research focussing on tissue inflammation and repair. She attended medical school at Saba University School of Medicine with clerkships throughout the eastern and southern USA. She completed her Family Medicine Residency at the New Hampshire Dartmouth Family Medicine Residency in New Hampshire, US. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and by the College of Family Physicians of Canada. She has completed the advanced training program and currently holds active membership with the Canadian Association of Medical Aesthetics as well as the American Academy of Family Practitioners. She is also certified through the Canadian College of Family Practitioners, and a licensee of the Nova Scotia College of Physicians and surgeons. When she is not serving her rural community in Cape Breton, NS she treats clients in her aesthetics and wellness practice – House of Flidara.
