Dr. Nitin Chauhan completed his undergraduate degree in Molecular Cell Biology before attending medical school. In 2006, he moved to Toronto to pursue a residency in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, followed by subspecialization in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is currently a double board-certified surgical specialist in both fields and serves as a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Chauhan is dedicated to balancing clinical care, educational initiatives, and research. He is deeply committed to patient safety and educating clinicians to promote safe and effective therapeutic practices. His research contributions include 25 peer-reviewed publications, along with review articles and practice guidelines. He also serves on the editorial boards of several scientific journals.
In addition to his expertise in facial aesthetic surgery, Dr. Chauhan specializes in minimally invasive, non-surgical cosmetic and therapeutic skin treatments for both the face and body. He is board certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and is a member of the American and Canadian Academies of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Chauhan continues to practice in Toronto, contributing to the advancement of his field through clinical work and research.
