
Dr. Elaine Fung is a surgical specialist in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. She completed her surgical residency at Dalhousie University, followed by a fellowship at the University of Alberta in Micro- Vascular Surgery, Facial Plastic Surgery, and Advanced Head and Neck Reconstruction. Dr. Fung began her career at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario as Assistant Professor specializing in Head and Neck Oncology, Micro-Vascular Surgery and Head and Neck Reconstruction. She returned to Halifax in 2017 and is currently working at the QEII Health Sciences Centre in Halifax. As Assistant Professor at Dalhousie University, she enjoys teaching medical students and resident surgeons, who will be the future of the specialty.
As Founder and Medical Director of Bedford Skin Clinic, she is passionate about giving patients comprehensive and holistic care. Her expertise ranges from facial cosmetic surgery, to minimally invasive and non-surgical procedures. Dr. Fung’s ultimate goal is to help patients achieve their aesthetic goals by enhancing a patient’s unique features and obtaining facial balance and harmony with a conservative and balanced approach.
