2-Day Neuromodulators and Dermal Filler Training – Basics Course for Nurses

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This Neuromodulators and Dermal Filler Training foundational course is designed for nurses to build the essential skills and knowledge necessary for the safe and effective use of neuromodulators and dermal fillers. Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of facial anatomy, injection techniques, and the management of common complications.

The course will focus on developing the competency and confidence to perform basic aesthetic procedures, ensuring successful outcomes in clinical practice. Upon completion, participants will be prepared to advance to the next level with our Advanced Neuromodulators and Dermal Fillers course.

BASICS TECHNIQUES COURSE INCLUDES:

Part 1: Online Theoretical Component (Self-Paced Learning)

Nurses will receive comprehensive pre-course materials designed to introduce foundational concepts and key educational topics related to soft tissue fillers and Botulinum Toxin Type A. This self-paced learning ensures participants acquire the necessary skills to manage and avoid common complications while performing aesthetic procedures.

Topics Covered Include:

  • Introduction to Aesthetic Medicine
  • Facial Anatomy and Anatomical Considerations
  • The Aging Process and Its Effects on the Face
  • Neuromodulators: Types, Techniques, and Applications
  • Dermal Fillers: Overview and Techniques
  • Vascular Complications and Management of Adverse Effects

Built-in Quizzes:

The online theoretical component includes quizzes at the end of each section. If a question is answered incorrectly, the correct answer will be provided to reinforce learning. This ensures participants thoroughly engage with the curriculum before proceeding to the in-person sessions.

Part 2: 2 Full Days of Hands-On Training (Over 15 Hours)

Students will undergo two full days of intensive hands-on training, performing Botulinum Toxin and Dermal Filler procedures under the guidance of expert instructors. This will allow nurses to immediately apply the techniques learned in the theoretical component in a practical setting.

Hands-On Practice Areas Include:

  • Botulinum Toxin Injections:
    • Forehead (Frontalis Muscle)
    • Glabella (Procerus Muscle, Corrugator and Lateral Corrugator Muscles)
    • Crow’s Feet (Orbicularis Oculi Muscle)
  • Dermal Fillers Injections:
    • Lip Augmentation

Individual course price $3510 + applicable tax.

This course provides nurses with the essential skills and hands-on experience to confidently perform these procedures in their practice. Upon completion, nurses are encouraged to continue to the Advanced Neuromodulators and Dermal Fillers course for further training.

This program is accredited by The Canadian Nurses Association (CNA – 40 CEUs).
