2-Day Neuromodulators and Dermal Filler Training – Advanced Course for Nurses

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This advanced course is tailored for nurses (RPN, LPN, RN, NP) who have completed the Basics Neuromodulators and Dermal Filler Training and are seeking to refine their skills, enhance critical thinking, and build confidence in utilizing neuromodulators and dermal fillers effectively.

Designed to ensure clinical success, this program empowers participants with the advanced techniques and expertise needed to excel in aesthetic practice.

*Prerequisite: Completion of the Basics Neuromodulator and Dermal Filler course for nurses.

ADVANCED TECHNIQUES COURSE INCLUDES

Part 1: Online Theoretical Component (Self-Paced Learning)

Nurses will be provided with comprehensive pre-course materials to engage with foundational concepts and advanced educational topics. This self-paced learning ensures participants gain a thorough understanding of managing and/or avoiding complications while injecting soft tissue fillers and Botulinum Toxin Type A.

Topics Covered Include:

  • Full Assessment of the Face
  • Understanding the Causes of Volume Loss and Wrinkles
  • The Art of Facial Sculpting
  • Management of Complications
  • Recognition of Adverse Effects

Built-in Quizzes:

The online theoretical component includes quizzes at the end of each section to reinforce learning. If a question is answered incorrectly, the correct answer will be provided to ensure participants thoroughly understand the curriculum before attending the in-person sessions.

Part 2: 2 Full Days of Hands-On Training (Over 15 Hours)

Students will engage in intensive, practical training over two full days, performing Botulinum Toxin and Dermal Filler procedures under expert supervision. Advanced techniques like cannula use for dermal fillers will be demonstrated and practiced. Additionally, participants will inject neuromodulators in key lower face areas for comprehensive skill development.

  • Undereye Area (Tear Trough, Periorbital)
  • Midface (Malar, Temples)
  • Jawline
  • Laugh Lines
  • Marionette Lines
  • Lower Face Neuromodulators: Masseters, Chin, DAO, Platysma Bands
This program is accredited by The Canadian Nurses Association (CNA 40 CEUs)
