Who Are We
Infinite Medical Spa, located in London, Ontario, offers cosmetic medicine services and expert skin guidance, focusing on honest communication and treatments tailored to the best interests of our patients. Our approach combines scientifically proven treatments with expert knowledge to help individuals achieve heightened self-confidence and self-love. We are looking to hire a Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse specializing in cosmetic medicine.
Job Duties
The role involves planning individualized care based on each client’s needs and adhering to high standards of technique, safety, and expertise. The nurse will use their clinical knowledge to provide exceptional, patient-centered care and will play an active role in social media and marketing strategies.
- Utilize nursing expertise to provide personalized care and build strong client relationships.
- Implement procedural treatments, including injections, laser energy-based devices, and aesthetic-type treatments.
- Engage in creating social media content and contribute to marketing strategies.
- Explain skin science clearly and address client concerns with a focus on their long-term goals.
- Stay updated on the latest injecting techniques, safety protocols, and education in cosmetic treatments.
- Collect, document, and manage patient data in line with the College of Nurses of Ontario standards.
- Educate patients about skin care and recommend suitable products.
- Administer medications accurately and monitor patient responses.
- Participate in staff development and training sessions.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
- Support and assist in training new team members.
- Follow reporting procedures for incidents to ensure timely follow-up and prevention.
- Adhere to regulatory standards and clinic policies.
- Display initiative and make independent decisions when necessary.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and adhere to dress code and safe practice guidelines.
- Contribute to team meetings with constructive input.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Chinese/Mandarin is a strong asset.
- Must carry Professional Liability Insurance as required by the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, with previous experience in cosmetic medicine is a requirement.
- Certification from an accredited training program in cosmetic procedures is an asset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and email applications.
- Strong time management, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion in patient care.
- Capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
Working Conditions
- Interaction with clients, staff, visitors, and external agencies.
- May be exposed to infectious diseases and conditions, including potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
- Travel may be required.
- Physical activity including walking, standing, sitting, and assisting with patient care.
- Occasional overtime may be necessary.
