Local Skin Bar offers customized medical grade facials, chemical peels, and skinpen microneedling in a welcoming environment. We also carry a selection of curated wellness and skincare products. You’ll be joining a small team of kind, empowering women who are passionate about skin health and creating a supportive space for both clients and each other.
We are looking for someone who has a passion for wellness and wants to grow their career as a medical aesthetician, with hands-on experience in skin treatments. The ideal candidate has excellent customer service skills and strong technical skills in medical-graded skin treatments. Having outstanding interpersonal skills and sales abilities is a key qualification.
Responsibilities of the Role
– Performing a variety of medical-grade facials including dermaplaning, chemical peels, and skinpen microneedling.
– Extensive knowledge of skincare and ability to conduct consultations to advise clients on different skin programs based on specific needs.
– Ability to knowledgeably explain the benefits of each skincare/wellness product we offer.
– General studio upkeep and cleanliness including room turnover and equipment cleanliness.
– Sustaining accurate client records and documentation.
– Building a relationship with clients – Local is all about tailoring each facial experience so it is specialized for the client, and providing a comfortable environment where clients often stop by and chat.
Availability
Looking for someone with evening/weekend availability. Applicants need to be able to work evenings from 4-9pm and on Saturday and Sunday.
