Dr. Maria Chuquer is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada in Anesthesiology. Additionally, over the last 12 years she has obtained advanced certifications in Medical Aesthetics, Cosmetic Dermatology, Menopause, Weight Management and Anti-Aging Medicine. In the academic field, Dr. Chuquer has held an Assistant Professor position at the University of Calgary Cumming School of Medicine since 2013.Dr. Chuquer started her Aesthetic Medicine private practice shortly after completing CAMAs Complete Injectors Package for physicians in 2021. She acts as the facility’s Medical Director and provides a variety of cutting edge and advanced non-surgical cosmetic treatments for hair, face and body. Her focus is on practicing evidence based medicine combined with the art of medical aesthetics.In her constant search for innovative and cutting-edge technologies, Dr. Chuquer aims to offer naturally beautiful and nuanced results identifying the finest, tailored solutions for each of her patients’ goals and problems.With her husband and young children, Dr. Chuquer calls Calgary home, where she loves living, working, playing tennis and welcoming new patients to her practice!
