Position Overview: The Medical Aesthetic Nurse is responsible for providing safe and effective medical aesthetic
treatments to clients. This includes delivering exceptional service from initial consultation through to treatment
planning, follow up, and repeat treatments. This role is ideal for an LPN or RN with experience or strong interest in
aesthetic medicine. The successful candidate will begin by performing advanced skin treatments such as IPL and
microneedling, with the opportunity to expand into providing cosmetic injections under the supervision of our
medical team.
You will be mentored by our experienced physicians and nurses and supported through hands-on training as your
confidence and skills develop.
Key Responsibilities:
Treatments & Client Care:
– Provide safe, effective treatments within scope and clinic protocols (IPL, microneedling, facials, PRP, cryotherapy, etc.)
– Deliver an exceptional experience from initial consultation through to post-treatment follow-up
– Maintain accurate and confidential documentation
– Maintain and calibrate aesthetic devices and treatment rooms
– Assist other providers with procedures when required
Professional Standards & Collaboration:
– Uphold the clinic’s high standards for safety, sterility, and client confidentiality
– Participate in team meetings, ongoing training, and clinic education sessions
– Communicate effectively with team members, management, and medical directors
– Assist with inventory management and administrative tasks as needed
– Triage post-treatment complications and escalate concerns when necessary
– Assist with front desk inquiries and support during high-traffic times
Clinic Growth & Development:
– Promote services and products through client education and consultation
– Build strong, long-term client relationships with a focus on trust and retention
– Participate in marketing initiatives, including on-camera photo or video content if comfortable
– Offer shadowing or mentorship support to team members when appropriate
– Stay current on trends, protocols, and best practices in the aesthetics industry
Professional Qualifications and Experience:
– Active registration and license in good standing with NANB or ANBLPN
– Willingness to learn new procedures and grow through guided mentorship
– Assets:
▪ Aesthetic Injection Training certificate(s)
▪ Experience with aesthetic procedures, medical-grade skincare, consultations, and treatment planning
▪ Sales, customer service, or hospitality background
▪ Previous experience in the medical aesthetics or wellness industry
