Cathy Awad is a Nurse Practitioner and expert medical aesthetic practitioner. Her path to medical aesthetics started in 2010 while working in the area of plastic surgery. From there she worked in a variety of roles as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department predominantly, Obstetrics and as a Clinical Nurse Instructor for the University of Windsor Ontario.
In 2016 Cathy graduated with her Masters of Nursing and became certified as a Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner. She worked in the areas of Primary Care, Corrections and Specialized Mental Health. Alongside those roles, she continued with advanced education in medical aesthetics and working as a Nurse Injector.
Cathy opened her first Medi-Spa in 2018 in Windsor, ON and grew to expand to a second Medi-Spa in 2022 in LaSalle, ON. She also is a medical director to nurses in the profession, providing expert guidance and support. She currently dedicates her time fully as owner, operator, medical director and educator to her Medi-Spas and teaching medical aesthetics.
Cathy is extremely passionate about medical aesthetics. Her philosophy is to achieve a natural beautification and restoration approach for all medical aesthetic applications. She especially loves mentoring others and is keen to stay up to date with the latest advancements in medical aesthetics.
